The beach!! And new steps!!

That's right - new steps!! Trent is WALKING!!!! All by himself - nothing to help him. A couple of days ago he was standing at the train table playing with a car, then he let go and walked over to Mommy (who was about 8 of his steps away)!! By the end of the day, he was walking all over!! Woo Hoo Trent!! Such a big boy!

Daddy and Mommy took us to the beach for July 4th. We went for a couple of nights. Check out the view of sunset from the balcony of our hotel room:

I loved the sand and the water too!! Trent wasn't too pleased with the heat. He rubs his eyes a lot and this became a problem when he played in the sand because it would get in his eyes!! He did okay though because he saw me having fun.

This look on his face pretty much sums it up for Trent's opinion:

Daddy burried me! Haha - it was a lot of fun doing that.

When you get all sandy, you get to go in the water and wash it off!!

There was a mini carnival set up that caught my attention. I wanted to ride the helicopters and the monkeys. So I had to get tickets.

The monkeys were like a tilt-a-whirl that spins ya know.. Like the tea cups... Anyways, it was a lot of fun. I got to pick which helicopter and which monkey to ride in. AND I GOT TO DRIVE THE HELICOPTER!! It went UP and DOWN and round and round!!

The night of the 4th, there was a big boat (a barge) out on the water that shot off fireworks. It parked right in front of our hotel!!

It was a long show! Like 15 minutes or so. We ate popcorn and watched from the balcony.
