Our First Zoo Trip!

Daddy and Mommy took me to the Zoo today!! It was so much fun! We got there around ten o'clock this morning and stayed until after one!! The first thing we saw were Pink Flamingos!
Here's me looking at them! They were neat! Daddy pointed out that their knees work backwards, I thought that was funny.

Behind me in that picture is the entrance to the ducks and other small birds. We got to walk all around inside their house! There were lots of streams and waterfalls and bridges. I like ducks.. I even said "duck" when I saw one. I've seen ducks before in Daddy's home town - we can feed them there, but not at the zoo.

Here is a picture of a silly Prairie Dog. It looks like a little mouse, not a dog!!

I didn't see any elephants at the zoo, but I did see really big Rhinos!!

And monkeys! Daddy likes monkeys and I do too. They are silly! We watched these monkeys for a long time because they are so full of energy.

This is me watching the monkeys. Mommy tried to get me watching them, but I spotted the camera - and we all know I'm a ham!
Mommy thought I'd be too afraid to feed the Giraffes but I proved her wrong! Daddy bought me some food to feed to it. I liked it a lot because his whiskers tickled my hand!

Daddy and Mommy let me feed lots of animals! I was having so much fun!

We got to watch the penguins eat. Daddy and Mommy really like penguins.

I think I like this one the best...

Daddy took me on the Sky Ride!! It went way up in the air over top of the Gazelles, Zebras, Cheetas, Gorillas, Lions... All kinds of animals!! The sign said that Mommy wasn't allowed to ride because she's in her third trimester. She was too busy feeding her face anyway. Daddy and I had fun on it! I sat with my feet hanging over the whole time.

It went across part of the zoo and then back. Here's us on our way back.

I liked this big bird.. It's an osterich.

I think the Osterich liked me too because he was watching me and I swear he was following me at one point!

Then we went on a train ride through Africa land or something. It was all types of four legged animals native to Africa. Like Gazelles and other things like that. The train went right through their house!

Of course, I sat like a big boy and was good the entire train ride.
Good things happen to good boys!

I got to eat some of an ice cream cone, a strawberry smoothie (I love those) and pizza!

Daddy and Mommy let me run free like a crazy kid most of the time. I stayed just a little ahead of them and then I'd get distracted and they'd pass me. I ran my butt off!

I had so much fun! I learned new words and tried to say them. Mommy and Daddy would tell me what each animal was and I tried to repeat the name. I did pretty good. Daddy said "Zebra" and I said "Bra bra"... I'm learning a lot these days!
I want a zoo of my own that I can visit whenever I want. But at MY Zoo, I'd have elephants, maybe even elephant rides!
