A Great Week!

I love elephants! I've never seen one up close but they are in a lot of shows and books that I have. Mommy and Daddy found me some coloring pages with elephants and some with cows ( I like cows too). When Daddy brought them home, I immediately wanted to color an elephant.

After I colored it, Daddy and Mommy helped me put it on the refrigerator where everyone could see it.

My brother is still hanging out in Mommy's belly. I like to listen to her belly. I know they say my brother is in there, but I don't really know what they mean. I know Mommy is starting to look a bit funny in the belly though.

Daddy and Mommy took me to play with my cousin Coston on Memorial Day. Coston and I had a lot of fun! His Mommy, Heather, took us for a wagon ride up the drive way and we both really liked it. On the way back, Coston kept touching my hand and saying "hold hands"... I didn't know what he was trying to do, so i pulled my hand away. Mommy told me that he wanted to hold my hand, so I held hands with him for a couple of minutes.

Then on Wednesday, Daddy took Mommy and me to Virginia Beach after my nap! Nana and Papa had just started their vacation there and invited us down for a day. I REALLY like that place. I made Daddy run the whole way from the hotel to the beach. Here we are right before we got to the really wet sand. That's Papa in the background.

I really liked the water. It was very cold and made me shiver a little bit, but it was worth it! Daddy played with me the whole time in the water. They had to pull me out and MAKE me play in the sand later. I like the sand too though, so it turned out well.

I love the beach! It was so fun! See me leaning back when the waves go in?? I was trying to compensate for the ground moving but it just made me dizzy.

Daddy, Mommy and I walked down the beach and back. Every time the waves came in and touched us, I'd walk crooked to try to compensate and I made myself and Mommy dizzy (I was holding Mommy and Daddy's hands)

Mommy always digs holes at the beach - so she made me one!

I watched her do it the whole time. There were a lot of sand crabs!!
My hole is clear of them though. There was water in the hole!

After we played, we went back to Nana and Papa's hotel room and got cleaned up. I had sand everywhere! Then we went out to eat at a place that had an outside patio. Here I am with a face full of shrimp! It was very rubbery, but I liked it.

After we ate, we went back home. I had a very long and fun afternoon. I was so tired that I fell asleep in my chair! Daddy put me in my crib and I didn't even move at all!
