The New Addition

On Valentine's Day, Mommy's Great Aunt Ethel and Uncle Don were in town and so were her Great Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bill. The girl in the pink shirt is Crystal, Ruth's grandaughter. She has FIVE CHILDREN!! WOW!! Here I am at Nana and Papa's house playing with three of them. I've never met them before but I'd love to see them again soon!! They are so fun and I loved to HUG and HUG them!!

Then, I'd like to say... About a week or so ago, Mommy was cleaning behind the couch and I kept messing with the stuff under the table you see behind me. She kept telling me to stop it, but I thought I'd go in for one more thing. Then BAM!!!

I hit my head (see the red above my right eye??) on the corner of the table!!

Mommy told me to hold a cold rag on it. So I went and sat down and held the cold rag on the back of my head. I don't know how that is supposed to help the FRONT of my head - but eventually I did feel better.

Mommy had her first prenatal visit today to check up on my new baby sibling. Everything is normal!!

Here's a picture! The baby's feet are up top (look like little white balls) and the head is down. The thing in between the legs is the umbillical cord, that's how the baby eats!


At this appointment, the baby's heartrate was about 170 BPM.
No, we don't know the gender of the baby yet, that's not until the 20 week appointment.

I did not go with them to the doctor because they knew it would take a long time. I think they were gone for almost 3 hours!! I got to stay with Nana and Papa at their house.

So here's what I did while they were gone...

I love popsicles. It took a little while but I finally know how to eat one by myself (supervised of course). Here I am sitting with Nana eating a cherry one! YUM!

It's always so cold! Sometimes I make a funny face while I'm eating them.

Nana and Papa had a box at their house that I was allowed to play in. They give me all kinds of things I don't get at home - like old remotes for the television - see it there?!!

I looked pretty much like this when Mommy and Daddy came to pick me up. I didn't even know they were there!! I happened to see Daddy walk by behind me and I jumped out of the box and had to see - and YEP it was him!

I did so good and had so much fun!!

Mommy's next appointment is March 25th - but we'll update before then!

Oh! After we left Nana and Papa's house, we went to the store and Daddy and Mommy got me some new shoes! I'm almost too big for my shoes now - so they went ahead and got a size 6. I'm growing up so fast! You'll see pictures of me in my new shoes later on.
