Our PA Family Reunion Trip

Our family reunion in Pennsylvania was on August 23rd. Daddy wanted to take a vacation (it's been over a year since he took any time off from working) so we made a 5 day trip out of it. We went up on Thursday and came home Monday. It was so much fun!! It went by really fast!

The sun was a little bright on the way there because we left after breakfast.

...So I dug out my shades!

Daddy insisted on driving the whole time, but I talked him into letting me take the wheel for awhile.

We visited everyone that we could. We saw Janet and Art, Judy and Larry, Gram and Pap, Amanda and her family, Mammy, Pappy, Gill, the Youngs, Kev and Brandy.... We didn't really have a lot of time to take pictures of everyone like we normally do, but Mommy and Daddy made sure to take a lot of pictures of ME!!

The family reunion was very fun too! There was a beach there for swimming and a lot of places for fishing. I tried to fish but decided it was best if I just watched.

Pappy handed it to me tail first and the fish bit him!! I laughed and laughed!!

I got a prize for being the newest member! It was a book.

Pappy took me for a walk around the trees and stuff. I found something to give Mommy.

Here's what I got for Mommy! A pine cone!!

Here I am with my cousins. They are getting big! Haley, Colin and Karlie.. They kept me so busy everyday! I missed a nap a day almost!!

Here I am playing at Aunt Amanda's house. I really liked these toys!!

When we went to visit Gill - he showed me his pet snake!! I liked it! Mommy wouldn't let me hold it because she thought I'd hold it too tightly.

Daddy and Mommy went to Burger King to eat breakfast one morning and Mommy took me through the play area!!! It says ages starting at 4 years old but since Mommy was with me it was okay for me to go. There were such high places. We kept running all through the things trying to see Daddy!!

Here I am in a helicopter! There is a steering wheel that moved the blades.. I stopped playing to look at Daddy.

Then we went WAY UP to the ceiling! Mommy let me look out this big bubble but she didn't want to get close to the edge! She is afraid of heights.

We went through the play thing twice. The first time down the slide-Mommy held me on her lap. The second time though, I wanted to go alone. It is a really big slide so Mommy didn't want me to go alone. So she held me in her ankles and we went REALLY FAST!! It is blurry but I'm sure you can make out my smile!!

Before we left, we went to feed the ducks. One got really close!!
I've never met an animal I don't like! The only thing I don't like is squeaky dogs barking!

Of course I had to take the wheel on the drive home part of the way!!
VROOM VROOM!!

All of that driving makes a little guy tired!! I snuggled up with the quilt Mommy made me and took a big nap!

Mommy is very proud of the quilt she made and she loves that I love it!
After my nap, Mommy and I played a game Mom called 'tent'. We lifted the quilt up over our heads and looked at all of the pretty colors. Mom would point out shapes or colors and I'd look at them. Hey, anything that will keep us entertained for the drive home! The ride is so much smoother for all of us when I'm in a good mood!
