Baby Shower/Party

The national meaning of balloons on a mailbox is PARTY OVER HERE!!!

The party was in our back yard.

Mommy and Daddy waited inside until the party began. Mommy is 34 Weeks Pregnant. That's 8 1/2 months!!

Here is a good picture of the Carr Family. These are my parent's friends. Sandy is the one who did all of the 'leg work' of my party.

Here is my Great-Aunt Christine with my mom's cousins Aaron and Jess. Jess is the one holding Coston.

This is my Great-great Aunt Ethel and Great-great Uncle Don. My Great-Aunt Patty is in the white.

Here is my Great-Grandmother Vera. I'll call her Granny, just like Mom and Dad do.

This is my Nana's neighbor Donna and Sparky.

A lot of people showed up for my party. They are all very excited to meet me! We invited men and women because my Daddy is just as involved in my conception and birth as my Mommy is.

Here is Donna, Ethel, Don, and Papa.

My mommy was always around this woman when she was growing up. Her name is Lovie.

This is my Mommy's cousin Michele with her kids, Aiden and Emma.

This is a good shot of my Mommy's cousin De'Linda's family. Standing is her husband Bryon. Casey is the girl (age 7) and the baby Wyatt.

Everyone seemed to really like my party. We had a cookout afterwards (with more than enough beer and food). In this picture (left to right) is Bryon, Casey, Patty, Chris, Laymon, Judy, Christine, Freda and Aaron. They are my Mommy's Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Here's my Mommy and Daddy together. They made a great looking kid... They don't know it yet though. Just wait until I make my appearance.

This is my Uncle Josh. My Mommy and Daddy met through him.

This is my Uncle Wade with his fiance' Melissa.

All of the guests played a lot of games. Here is one of Rosie playing the pictionary game. Each person picked a piece paper that had something baby related on it. Then the person had to draw the picture without words. Whoever guesses the picture draws next.

The guests also played the ribbon game - where they cut a piece of ribbon the size that they think Mommy's belly is.

There was a tray set out with all kinds of baby things out on it and the guests had to remember what the things were and then write it all down.

Name That Baby was a hit too... A lot of the guests brought pictures of themselves as babies and had to guess which baby was which.

There was also the Clothes Pin Game... Each guest was given one clothes pin and was told not to say the word "baby". If they did, their clothes pin was taken away.

Here is one of my Daddy playing Pictionary. Can you guess what he is drawing???

It is "Premature"!!

Did you get it?? Hahaha... Daddy is so smart. He had to draw a lot of times because he kept guessing everyone else's pictures.

Here is Mommy opening presents. There was a lot of things!!

LOOK!! OH MY!! Mommy got Daddy this as a surprise! He had no idea he'd get this! He says I will always wear this outfit when I am with him. It's got a cute little hat with it to... Too bad I'll be too little to wear it home from the hospital. Daddy'll make it fit, I'm sure!

It doesn't look like it now, but this is my crib! My Nana, Papa, and Ethel & Don got it for me.

My Nana was at the party behind the camera the entire time... We'll catch her next time!

My Mommy is trying to get other pictures from the baby shower in Pennsylvania loaded on this webpage too... That's a little harder to do she says.
We'll keep the site as updated as we can!
